Course Outline:
Working in the health and social care sector means that you have a responsibility to promote the safety and well-being of your clients, protecting them from danger, harm and abuse. Knowing how to recognise signs of abuse and how to respond is vital. This course is designed to enable attendees to gain these skills and learn what to do when faced with such challenges.

This course meets the requirements for care staff as set out in the Skills for Care Common Induction Standards 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 5.5.
