Award in Food Safety Awareness in Catering (Level 1)

Who is this course for?
The new CIEH Level 1 Award in Food Safety Awareness in Catering is run as a half-day course, suitable for a variety of candidates, including new employees with minimal or no prior food safety knowledge, also for members of church groups, voluntary organisations, youth clubs and sports clubs.
Course Syllabus:

There is a growing need to make learning in food safety more relevant to a range of non-obvious learners who are involved in the ‘occasional’ handling of food.
This half day course provides essential knowledge and understanding of the responsibilities of food handlers.
The course is followed by a 15 multiple choice question paper.
Half day CIEH Certificated Course -  Fee includes the cost of registration, materials, exam and certification (Certificate valid for a notional 3 years)
